A message from the 2025 Jacket Chairs

Dear Valued Designer and Partner,

We are honored to invite you to participate in the 2025 DIFFA Dallas Jacket Collection, a tradition that stands at the heart of our mission to support those impacted by HIV/AIDS in North Texas. Since the late 1980s, the DIFFA Dallas Jacket Collection has become a unique platform, celebrating creativity, advocacy, and community through custom jackets that embody both artistry and purpose.

The Jacket Collection began as an innovative response to the early days of the AIDS crisis, when Dallas’s design community stepped forward to help in any way they could. What started as a modest event quickly evolved into a signature tradition. The collection now showcases some of the world’s most talented designers and visionaries, having featured designs from icons such as Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Thierry Mugler, even the beloved Elizabeth Taylor. Through your dedication and creativity, we have raised millions to fund direct care services for those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS in our community.

This year’s theme, Dreamstate, invites you to explore a realm where dreams drive action and imagination shapes reality. We encourage you to interpret this theme in your own way, bringing your unique voice to the Collection. Whether inspired by ethereal beauty, bold surrealism, or the transformative power of dreams, your contribution will be central to the impact we create together.

By contributing a one-of-a-kind piece, you’re not only supporting DIFFA’s mission but also helping us elevate our impact. Each jacket in the Collection tells a story and inspires attendees to elevate their bids, knowing that their contributions directly fund life-saving. care, housing, and resources for those in need. Select jackets will have the chance to be featured on the House of DIFFA runway, ensuring high visibility through professional photography, event promotion, and media channels.

As part of this year’s collection, your jacket will not only add to the evening’s magic but also play a pivotal role in inspiring our patrons to give generously. Your work will directly contribute to our mission, helping to provide essential services—such as healthcare, housing, and mental health resources—to those impacted by HIV/AIDS and related issues across North Texas.
